Carrabelle-Thompson Airport Facility Renovations

Details

In these two projects at the Carrabelle Airport, RAM Construction & Development oversaw multiple improvements to the site. The first project consisted of the construction of a fueling apron and relocation of an Avgas fuel tank. The second project included the removal of sliding hangar doors from six (6) existing hangar building and replacement with powered bi-fold doors and building walk doors with 5 ft. square concrete pad outside of doorways of all hangars. Electrical upgrades, including outlets, light fixtures, wiring, and service panels were also completed. Repairs were also made to a leaking roof and sagging insulation, and foundations for previously unanchored columns were designed and constructed.
